How Tony Delgado Is Leading The Way for Latinos To Learn The Secrets of Wall Street

As the world develops continuously, so do economies and the way we do business. Recently, there is growing potential in earning from technology and the internet. But although there are tons of opportunities in the online space, not everyone has the proper tools and knowledge to harness these benefits.

That’s where Tony Delgado steps in. The Puerto Rican-American software developer, businessman, activist, philanthropist, and tech entrepreneur launched several initiatives, and among them is a platform that empowers Latin Americans.

Starting Latino Wall Street

In 2018, Tony moved to the island of Puerto Rico for good. There, he started multiple socially impactful startups using his tech-savvy and entrepreneurial skills.

One of them is the Latino Wall Street, the top educational platform in Spanish where students can learn about the stock market. It was specifically created to empower the Latino community, especially Latino women, to generate income from home.

Through Latino Wall Street, Latin American students can learn about the basics of the stock market and how they can use their resources to adapt to the ever-changing economy.

Latino Wall Street is the first and only company to offer Wall Street courses for the Latin American community. Tony Delgado founded the company alongside Gaby Berrospi and Alan Burak. Today, the educational platform has expanded its roster by accommodating experts from all over the world who have some valuable lessons to share.

Tony has also helped start multiple startups such as Disrupt Week, The Disrupt Foundation, and Disrupt Magazine, all of which have left their social impact on the community while disrupting the online space.

Why He Made The Move

Back in 2017, Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico. Many Puerto Ricans residing in New York and other areas saw the situation and came together to find a way to show their support for the people back on the island.

Tony was among the people who expressed concern for his fellow countrymen. But instead of merely donating provisions, he went to the island to distribute goods to those in need. But during his visit, he saw that Hurricane Maria wasn’t the only thing that caused despair among Puerto Ricans. It became evident that they were also facing economic inequality.

Moved by what he saw, Tony moved to the island in 2018 and made it his mission to battle inequality by creating entrepreneurial opportunities for the millions of Puerto Ricans who are looking to make it in life.

Since he started, Tony is dedicated to helping improve the Puerto Rican economy through entrepreneurship and, ultimately, improve the lives of the people on the island.
