Heavy showers and storms have ended in Acadiana this Thursday morning but a few scattered showers could linger in coastal areas as we proceed through the day. Mostly cloudy, drier, and slightly cooler weather is expected for all of Acadiana during the afternoon as highs near 86°. Humidity levels stay uncomfortable but will slowly fall as well.

Skies fully clear tonight leading to temperatures into the mid to upper 60s by Friday morning. Humidity levels should drop faster too, leading to very comfortable conditions tomorrow and throughout the weekend.
