Crime Reports: Abilene man’s wrist fractured after he was beaten with bat

1300 block of Cedar Street – Burglary of Habitation
A Burglary of Habitation report was completed in north Abilene.

2800 block of Poplar Street – Criminal Mischief
A criminal mischief report was taken in south Abilene.

2700 block of Caton Place – Assault Family Violence 
Police took a report for assault family violence in south Abilene.

2000 block of N Mockingbird Lane – Possession of Controlled Substance 

1900 block of Pine Street – Assault 

Grape Street and Lowden Street – Theft of Property
A citizen reported an unknown person stole her hood ornament off her vehicle.

3100 block of Hunt Street – Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon
A report was taken for aggravated assault after a victim was assaulted by a bat. It fractured his left wrist.

1000 block of Presidio Drive – Criminal Mischief
A victim reported her boyfriend vandalized her work cell phone.

300 block of Burger Street – Burglary of Vehicle
A burglary of motor vehicle was reported in north Abilene.

1800 block of Chestnut Street – Burglary of Building 
A victim reported an unknown suspect entered a building and stole property.

3400 block of Vogel Avenue – Assault Family Violence

1800 block of S 7th Street – Assault Family Violence
An assault family violence report was taken in south Abilene.

3200 block of S Clack Street – Theft of Property
A south Abilene business reported someone cut their exterior fence and took property without permission.

4500 block of S 1st Street – Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon
Police responded to a call for service.

5200 block of Western Plains – Assault
An assault report was taken in south Abilene. The victim did not need assistance.

800 block of Grape Street – Theft of Property 
A theft report was taken in north Abilene.

1400 block of N Willis Street – Assault Family Violence 
An assault family violence occurred between an uncle and nephew.

2300 block of Hardy Street – Assault 
Police responded to an assault in south Abilene.
