In the tropics, Tropical Storm Gabrielle continues to get better organized. It is expected to become a hurricane later today and could strengthen into a major hurricane as it passes east of Bermuda. It won’t bring impacts to that island, but the Azores could see some impacts later next week as it begins to weaken. Another tropical wave could develop later in the week as it moves westward towards the Lesser Antilles.
