The VFE-P07D attaches to shoulder-mount and studio-format cameras in Ikegami’s UNICAM XE series. It features a Full HD 0.7-inch OLED screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, designed for precise camera positioning and focusing across various lighting conditions, from bright outdoor scenes to low-light interiors. The OLED display offers fast response times to capture fast-moving subjects such as sports and a high contrast range supporting HDR content.
Above the OLED is a 3.5-inch LCD monitor that tilts over 120 degrees and rotates 180 degrees sideways. The monitor has 450 cd/m2 brightness and wide viewing angles to facilitate off-center shooting and monitoring from different positions. Both screens provide 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution and display up to 16.7 million colors.
Additional features include a forward-facing tally light, controls for brightness, contrast, peak level, menu navigation, marker selection, zebra pattern, and tally brightness. An assignable pushbutton is accessible from the rear. A BNC input on the LCD monitor supports external HD/3G-SDI signal monitoring, useful for compact setups and location shoots.
The VFE-P07D is compatible with several UNICAM XE cameras including the HDK-X500, UHK-X600, UHK-X700 portable, and UHK-X700RF wireless cameras. All use 3-CMOS global shutter imagers and conform to the ITU-R BT.2020 HDR standard.
