SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – If you are in need of after-school services Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) may have an opportunity just right for you and your family.
SPAR’s after-school program is now open, and they say they are ready to provide Shreveport children with a variety of after-school activities.
The program will provide a space for youth to focus on education, positive recreation, and also build life skills.
Participants can expect a range of activities such as:
Arts and crafts
Exciting activities
Field trips
Games
Homework assistance
Life skills classes
Sports
According to the webpage, the programs serve children aged 6 to 17 and operates Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
