Wanted: SPD searching for woman behind alleged ‘violent knife attack’.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department is actively searching for Erica Morgan following what they have called a violent knife attack.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on August 18, 2025, officers responded to a call on 7100 block of Brantway Street.

There, they found a victim suffering from deep cuts who was then transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Police say witnesses were able to provide enough information for officers to issue an arrest warrant for Erica Morgan for Aggravated Second-Degree Battery.

The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone who sees Erica Morgan to contact them immediately and do not approach her. She is considered armed and dangerous.
