2 motorcyclists, driver die in collision outside Exeter

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The drivers of two motorcycles and an SUV died in a crash along Highway 198 in Tulare County Sunday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol announced.

CHP reports around 1:30 p.m. they responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 198, east of Mehrten Drive, where they found two motorcycles and an SUV blocking the highway in both directions.

Officers on scene reported the two motorcyclists and the driver of the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are actively working to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash, and advise drivers to always abide by the speed limit.
