The first occurred last Sunday and killed 65-year-old Cassandra C. Larish.
According to the Arkansas State Police (ASP) report, crash happened when the Harrison woman’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Larish was taken to North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison where she later died.
That accident happened last Sunday morning at 10:42 on Arkansas State Highway 43 in the Grubb Springs area.
The other accident happened Wednesday, killing 93-year-old James Doyle Fox of Mcallen, Texas and injuring a passenger in his vehicle, 91-year-old Beverly Arlene Oby of Faribault, Minnesota. Oby was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
The ASP says the crash happened when Fox pulled onto U.S. Highway 62/65 and was struck by another vehicle. That vehicle then struck a third vehicle. No one was injured in the other vehicles.
The accident happened at 1:45 Wednesday afternoon in Harrison. It was raining at the time and the roadway was wet.
