BALDWIN, La. (KLFY) — A shooting investigation is underway in Baldwin after an incident occurred this morning.
According to Baldwin Police, from an altercation between two people just after 3 a.m., resulted in a gun being pulled out.
Officials said once the gun was pulled, one of the individuals tried to grab it and it went off.
Officials said no one was shot but one person was beaten up. That person was sent to a hospital and later released.
One person has been detained; however, a full investigation is underway.
