MH Bomber Band putting in off-season work; Rehearsals begin Wednesday


Band rehearsals for the 2025 Mountain Home Bomber Band begin Wednesday, July 23rd, with the first halftime performance set for Friday night, September 5th, at the Bombers’ first home game against Harrison.
The band will also perform in the Baxter County Fair Parade the next morning, Saturday, September 6th.




This year’s field show is called “The Inn Between”, and features music from Adele, the James Bond film Spectre, and the Bee Gees.

KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot news spoke with Band Director, Tom Chentnik, who gave an update on the hard work the band has been putting in over the summer.

Bomber Band Drum Majors, Lily Prociuk and Izzy Koehler, spent part of their summer at the University of Arkansas Drum Major Academy, alongside about 75 other students from Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas. In addition to working on their conducting skills, they also had the opportunity to work on team-building and leadership skills.
