By rssfeeds-admin COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A teenager accused of the murder of Manchester High School football star, Daryus Bryant, appeared in recorder’s court Tuesday.
Zion Horton, 17, is charged with murder, three counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Police say Horton was involved in the 2024 shooting that killed Bryant and injured another teen. The shooting took place near Macon Road and Lakeshore Drive. Investigators say surveillance video and cell phone data ties Horton to the scene of the crime.
Horton was denied bond. His case now moves to superior court.
