BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that leaves at least one person dead.
According to officials, officers were called to the intersection of Avenue J and Woodpecker Street regarding a shooting before 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
The East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
No further details were immediately available.
