The severe threat has come to an end in Acadiana as the line of storms have moves into eastern Louisiana. A few lingering showers continue this morning as we start slightly cooler with temperatures in the 60s to 70s. Hotter and quieter weather is expected for the afternoon as highs recover into the upper 80s.
The stormy pattern continues for the rest of the week but storms will be likeliest during the afternoon. A low severe threat is possible each day along with a risk for localized flash flooding.
