Hotter and staying breezy in Acadiana

Warm and breezy weather is kicking off Thursday in Acadiana as temperatures are in the 70s along with strong southerly winds. Highs today will near 89° but will feel like the 90s because of the humidity. Also, south winds will gust over 25 mph at times throughout the day. Skies start cloudier but rain chances remain slim to none.

The hot and breezy weather continues through the weekend into next week. Models are showing a weak cold front next Wednesday which could bring isolated rain back to Acadiana.
