This morning, Whiskey Myers announced their summer 2025 What We Were Born To Do Tour, which kicks off on June 6th in Des Moines, Iowa, and run through cities across the country, eventually ending in Cherokee, North Carolina. They will bring along a rotating group of openers in Bayker Blankenship, Kashus Culpepper, Josh Meloy, Pony Bradshaw, Alex Lambert and The Droptines, which will make for a truly great show all-around.
It’s in addition to an already-busy touring schedule, as the band already announced a co-headlining run with Tedeschi Trucks Band on the Live in 25 Tour. They will also host the 7th-annual Wiggy Thump Festival on May 10th in their hometown of Palestine, Texas, in addition to putting on the inaugural Moon Crush “Whiskey Moon” music vacation takes over Miramar Beach, Florida in November.
But even more exciting than all of their tour dates… Whiskey Myers recently told fans that they have a new album in the works, which will be produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Halestorm), and I’m really excited for that one. Jay and Whiskey Myers are a natural fit, as Jay definitely leans in the rock elements that Whiskey Myers does so well.
Hopefully, we’ll get to hear some of it sooner rather than later…
If you take a look a their extremely extensive touring schedule this year, the east Texas southern rock outfit will be quite literally everywhere in 2025, so you have no excuse to miss it… and you won’t want to, because it’s a face-melting live show where you’ll get your money’s worth and then some.
