SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles will open select field offices across the state to assist with REAL ID compliance.

Residents are encouraged to book appointments for one of three available Saturdays when representatives will be in the office to assist as the compliance deadline approaches.

The following offices will be open on March 15, April 12, and May 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Livingston, New Orleans (Veterans Blvd.), Monroe, Shreveport, Oakwood Center (Gretna)

Starting May 7, 2025, all Louisiana Driver’s licenses and State ID cardholders will need a REAL ID endorsement to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities. For the REAL ID checklist or to check the status of your driver’s license, please visit Expresslane.org.
