Illinois governor grants $31.8M in cannabis loans for social equity
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker awarded $31.8 million in loans to 95 cannabis businesses throughout the state through Round III of the Cannabis Social Equity Loan Program, prioritizing businesses with “social equity status” and financial need.
The loans, distributed through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, will go to craft growers, dispensaries, infusers and transporters across the state.
