Baxter County reports November sales tax collections up 6.7%

Baxter County officials say November sales tax collections, reported in January 2026, exceeded projections and showed gains over the same month last year, according to Baxter County Treasurer Jenay Mize.

County General sales tax totaled $527,033, up $33,148, a 6.7% increase from November 2024. Jail sales tax collections also rose 6.7%, increasing $14,550 from last year.
