BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Reports show that interim Athletic Director Verge Ausberry was promoted to full-time AD on Tuesday.
According to reports from ESPN College Sports Writer Pete Thamel, Ausberry was promoted as the university’s AD by LSU’s new president, Wade Rousse, on his first day in office.
This comes after former AD Scott Woodward decided to part ways with the university on Oct. 30, after head football coach Brian Kelly was fired.
Ausberry was previously the university’s Athletic Administrator and has been part of the LSU Athletics Department since 1991.
