By rssfeeds-admin JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A “major gas leak” has been reported in Elmwood, according to Jefferson Parish officials.
The gas leak was reported at 1305 Edwards Ave. The Eastbank Consolidated Fire Department will reportedly close multiple roads.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Fire Department will be evacuating buildings, parish officials said.
Crews are working to repair the leak.
