Norfork City Council to discuss water, sewer rates

The Norfork City Council will meet Tuesday evening to review financial reports, consider utility rate ordinances, and discuss the city’s 2026 budget.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 at Norfork City Hall.

On the agenda are the approval of minutes from September’s meetings, the monthly report of account balances, and third-quarter financial reports.

Council members will hold second readings of two proposed ordinances: Ordinance 2025-04, which would increase water rates, and Ordinance 2025-05, which would raise sewer rates. The council is also expected to review Resolution 2025-06, adopting the city’s 2026 budget.

New business includes discussion of a bank account related to the sewer grant project and a lot matter involving residents Steve Johnson and Dawn Carson at 88 Riverview Drive.

The meeting is open to the public.
