Membership ID cards are now available for pickup at the youth center for those who have already purchased memberships. Adams said approximately 2,000 memberships have already been sold, including a large number through local businesses offering payroll deduction options to employees.

Mayor Adams said the city is still targeting Memorial Day weekend for opening the facility and confirmed there will be swimming available by that time.
