The DOJ announced Thursday that a federal grand jury indicted 53-year-old Jerome Oliver, also known as “Daddy,” of Missouri, for sex trafficking a minor and related offenses.
Pennsylvania State Police stopped Oliver on the PA Turnpike on April 28, who was driving a black Ford Edge in West Pennsboro Township. A minor inside the Ford was discovered to have been classified as “missing and endangered” in Missouri. Also inside the Ford was a 19-year-old passenger.
DOJ said Oliver allegedly was transporting the underage girl and the 19-year-old with the intent for them to engage in prostitution.
If convicted, Oliver faces a maximum of life in prison and must spend at least 15 years on supervised release, along with paying a fine.
The FBI investigated the case along with PSP.
