Business leaders in Belvidere honor Hispanic entrepreneurs

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — Business leaders in Belvidere gathered today for the annual Hispanic Heritage Luncheon, coinciding with Mexican Independence Day.

The event featured Nancy Razon as the keynote speaker, a leader with the Belvidere School District and the non-profit ‘Youth Movement,’ which supports underserved children.

“Supporting Hispanic-owned businesses is very important to the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce,” said the Chamber’s president. “We have a large Hispanic population in our area, and we want to make sure we support all businesses.”

This marks the fifth year the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted the Hispanic Heritage Luncheon, emphasizing community support and resource connection.

The luncheon serves as a platform to discuss opportunities and foster collaboration among local businesses, particularly those owned by Hispanic entrepreneurs.
