Ikegami To Feature Two OLED Viewfinders, Control And Monitor Updates For Broadcast Asia 2026

Ikegami will roll out two OLED viewfinders and a slate of camera, control and monitor updates at Broadcast Asia 2026, aiming at studio, sports and live news workflows at Singapore Expo, May 20-22 (Stand 5D3-1).

Headlining are two Broadcast Asia premieres:

• VFE-P07D monocular OLED viewfinder with a tiltable 3.5-inch LCD monitor. The 0.7-inch 16:9 OLED and 3.5-inch TFT LCD each deliver 1920×1080 resolution. Specs include 200 cd/m² OLED brightness, 450 cd/m² LCD brightness, wide viewing angles (170°), more than 120° tilt, and 180° lateral adjustment. Built-in waveform, vectorscope and audio meters. Compatible with UNICAM XE models including HDK-X500, UHK-X600, UHK-X700 and UHK-X700RF.
• VFE-P711AD 7-inch OLED viewfinder. Developed from the VFL-P700AD, it adds precise chroma, high brightness and fast response for HFR focus/framing, with integrated waveform, vectorscope and audio metering. Front and rear tally indicators, 3G-SDI input for use as a field monitor, camera or 12V DC power, about 12W consumption; 232 x 150 x 73 mm, 1.1 kg. Accessories for VFL-P700AD remain compatible.

Cameras And IP Extension

• UNICAM XE series: UHK-X700 and UHK-X600 use three 2/3-inch 4K CMOS global-shutter sensors with AXII processing for direct 12G-SDI from the head and HFR. Studio bodies UHK-X750 and UHK-X650 share the platform.
• HDK-X500: multiformat HD portable, F11 sensitivity, 62 dB SNR, 3G connectivity and advanced color management.
• IPX-100: SMPTE ST 2110-compliant half-rack 2U IP extension with bidirectional optical transport and camera-head power over a composite opto-electrical cable; optional JPEG XS. Alternative to the BSX-100 base station with baseband and optional IP I/O.

Compact/POV

• UHL-X40 PTZ-oriented two-piece camera for studio and outdoor use; remote head-to-CCU operation up to six miles on duplex fiber. UHL-F4000 variant targets aerial capture with haze removal and digital zoom.
• UHL-43 box-style camera for parliamentary, POV and surveillance uses; HD-HDR model upgradable via software to 4K-UHD; adaptable to shoulder, arm or overhead mounts.

Control And Ops

• OCP-500 slim remote control panel with LCD touchscreen and rotary encoders; 82 mm width allows up to five units in the footprint typically used by four OCP-300s.
• VMP virtual master control panel for up to 100 cameras from a Windows PC, with setup/control, file management/transfer and diagnostics; integrates with physical OCPs/MCPs over a LAN.
• XE WebView browser-based setup, configuration and supervision, especially for IP workflows with IPX-100.

Monitors

• HLM-2460WA: 24-inch WUXGA LCD in the 60 series, 1800:1 contrast, TSL V5.0 over Ethernet for tally/UMD, suited to monitor walls.
• HQLM-3120W: 31.1-inch 4096×2160 10-bit IPS LCD with LED backlight, HDR-capable, 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI Q/L (SQD/2SI), HD-SDI and HDMI (HDCP 2.2).
• ULE-217-HDR: 21.5-inch 1920×1080 LED with 1,000 nits for HDR/SDR, aimed at control rooms, mobile units and post.
