Three hospitalized, one extracted from vehicle after multi-vehicle crash in Provo

PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — Three people were transported to the hospital, including one who had to be extracted from the vehicle, following a multi-vehicle accident in Provo.

Provo Fire and Rescue responded to the crash near the River Bottoms area of Provo around 6:49 a.m. Saturday morning, per the Provo Firefighters Union.

Crews removed the side of the vehicle the person was trapped inside, with the extraction completed in about 10 minutes, “a very fast extraction time.”

Two people were sent to the hospital in addition to the victim who was rescued.
