Lake Charles man, 72, charged with crashing into house in May, killing resident

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) — A Lake Charles man has been arrested in connection with a crash that killed a resident in his home in May, authorities said.

Albert C. Miller, 72, of Lake Charles, is charged with vehicular homicide.

Lake Charles Police began investigating a crash May 26 in the 700 block of Madeline Street. Authorities said a vehicle had crashed into a house, killing the sole occupant of the home. Miller was identified as a suspect after an extensive investigation, officials said.

He was booked and transported to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office on a $50,000 bond.
