ASHBURN, Va. (DC News Now) — The competition pool in Ashburn will reopen after a potential presence of glass was found in it.
The competition pool closed earlier this month after staff believed that there could be glass in the pool. A non-mercury glass thermometer that was being used during routine monitoring accidentally broke.
Staffers were able to drain the pool and remove any potential glass or debris.
