ASHBURN, Va. (DC News Now) — The competition pool in Ashburn will reopen after a potential presence of glass was found in it.
The competition pool closed earlier this month after staff believed that there could be glass in the pool. A non-mercury glass thermometer that was being used during routine monitoring accidentally broke.
Staffers were able to drain the pool and remove any potential glass or debris.
The pool will reopen on Aug. 15 at 8 a.m.
