Possible glass found in competition pool at Ashburn Recreation and Community Center

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Ashburn Recreation and Community Center competition pool has temporarily closed due to the potential presence of glass found on Thursday.

Other operations, such as the leisure pool and the spa, are not impacted.

Swimmers searching for an alternative pool to use during the closure include the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center or the Dulles South Recreation and Community Center. The facilities feature recreational amenities, including competition and leisure pools, a hot tub, a lazy river and an open swim and play area.

Other indoor swimming opportunities for patrons include the Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center located at 17010 Evening Star Drive, Round Hill.
