Scattered storms more widespread next today and tomorrow

Tuesday is off to a mostly quiet start besides a few showers along the coastal regions of Acadiana. Scattered showers and storms should become more likely during the afternoon as rain chances increase to 50%. Heavy rains and strong winds are possible but severe weather is not expected. The typical summer heat and humidity remains in place followed by rained cooled air this evening.

Rain chances run a little higher tomorrow and then will decrease back to 40% Thursday.
