Free community resource fair hosted by Shreve Memorial Library

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A community resource fair is being held by Shreve Memorial Library’s Hamilton/South Caddo Branch.

“Building on the library’s mission to transform Caddo Parish lives with resources, services, and support, the annual event celebrates community and highlights resources available to all,” a press release stated. “Library patrons and members of the community are invited to visit the Hamilton/South Caddo Branch to learn more about the amazing resources available at Shreve Memorial Library and in Caddo Parish.”

Several community partners will be available at this year’s fair, including:

  • Caddo Council on Aging
  • Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana
  • Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Mobile Workforce Center
  • Moms on a Mission
  • Volunteers for Youth Justice

Information booths will be set up to offer more details about the resources and services available from each partner.

The fair will take place on Tuesday, August 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at SML’s Hamilton/South Caddo Branch, 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport.
