COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Uptown Columbus is teaming up with Perfect Touch Automotive Playground (PTAP) to present a Back-to-School Bash and Car Show on August 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The event organizers say they will have 150 classic and custom cars, vendors, and Kid Zones. There is also a school supply drive that benefits the McKinney-Vento Program.
Broadway streets will be closed for the festival showcasing cars, back-to-school shopping, and live music by DJ Cashflow from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

- Kid Zones: Located at Cascade Hills at the Rialto Theater and Columbus Clingstones in the 1100 Block
- School Supply Drive: You can drop off supplies near the RiverCenter to support local youth experiencing homelessness through the McKinney-Vento program
- 50/50 Raffle
- Free Parking is available in nearby parking garages
“The event is about more than just fun,” says Always Uptown and PTAP. “It’s about giving back and making sure every child starts school ready and supported.”
