Troopers hurt in Enfield crash; I-91 north shut down
ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Two Connecticut State Police troopers were after being called to a multi-vehicle crash on I-91 north in Enfield Thursday morning.

The Connecticut State Police states that troopers were sent to a report of a multi-vehicle crash in the area of Exit 48 when they were struck in the area of Exit 47W. Multiple injuries were reported, and several people have been taken to an area hospital. 22News crews saw a damaged police cruiser and at least six total cars involved.

I-91 North is currently closed at Exit 47E. Traffic is being diverted onto Route 190 East.
