Scattered rain returns for the afternoon

Wednesday morning is starting off much quieter in Acadiana compared to yesterday as rain chances are minimal. Scattered showers and storms return by the afternoon with a few storms producing heavy rains and strong winds. Otherwise, the heat and humidity stay typical for July as highs reach the lower 90s.

This weather pattern remains the same through the weekend. No major changes are coming for at least the next week in Acadiana.
