MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Poplar Grove man has been charged after allegedly shooting and killing a man and injuring another on Saturday morning.
The Phillips County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police with a shooting that occurred in the 300 block of Phillips County Road at around 2:15 a.m.
A 38-year-old man was pronounced dead after being taken to the Helena Regional Medical Center.
A second victim, a 47-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital and remains in stable condition.
Special Agents arrested Decorick Farr, 41, and charged him with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting.
He was booked into the Phillips County Detention Center.
