By rssfeeds-admin (WPHL) — If you have room in your heart and home for a shelter pet, now may be the time to consider adopting your future furry friend.
Earlier in the month, the HVAC system at the Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center failed, which forced that location to shut down. The animal welfare organization had to transfer dozens of animals to their already full Philadelphia Headquarters and Main Line Animal Rescue. Additionally, the PSPCA says adoptions are slowing down during the summer months.
The Pennsylvania SPCA has extended its $25 adoption fee special through July 6 at its Philadelphia Headquarters, Main Line Animal Rescue site, and PSPCA Danville Center. Eligible dogs and cats must have been available for adoption for 30 days.
