MAURICE, La. (KLFY) — Two people were arrested on drug charges, and one of them for alleged cockfighting, as a result of a traffic stop in Maurice, authorities said.Vermilion Municipal and Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force conducted a traffic stop June 6 on Beay Road in Maurice that led to a search of a nearby residence. As a result of the search, agents seized the following:
Approximately 3.2 grams of suspected Methamphetamine
Approximately 12.4 grams of suspected Cocaine and Crack Cocaine
2 ½ Buprenorphine pills
Approximately 2 grams of Fentanyl and Cocaine mixture
2 suspected Adderall pills
Various drug paraphernalia items including scales and packaging for distribution
Evidence of suspected cockfighting
Agents arrested two people for narcotics offenses and alleged cockfighting.

Roberta Comeaux, 40, is charged with the following:
Possession of Schedule II (Cocaine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Simple Littering
DeBlanc is being held in the Vermilion Parish Jail on $34,000 bond. Comeaux was released after posting $2,000 bond.
