The Recertified Sonos Memorial Day Sale is now live and will run through Memorial Day, May 25th. For a limited time, you can save an extra 25% off Sonos’ most popular products, like the versatile Era 100 smart speaker, the flagship Arc Ultra soundbar, and the room-filling Sonos Sub 4. This savings stacks with the already discounted prices when you choose a refurbished product.

Note that Sonos refurbished products go through rigorous testing and look and work as if they are brand new. They come with all accessories, manuals, and documentation and are reshipped in “pristine” packaging. Most importantly, Sonos includes the same 1-year warranty as buying a retail product.

Sonos Memorial Day Sale on Recertified Speakers

Sonos Arc Ultra Soundbar for $749

Sonos’ flagship Arc Ultra soundbar drops to its lowest price ever for Memorial Day. Right now, you can get it for $749, a total savings of 32% off the brand new retail price of $1,099.

Given the number of upgrades, the Sonos Arc Ultra should be considered more as a new class of flagship soundbar than a mere update of the original Arc. At first glance, both look similar, with the same 46″ long profile, but the internals are totally different. Whereas the Arc featured a 5.0.2ch setup with eleven speakers and no sub, the Arc Ultra boasts an expanded 9.4.1ch setup with fourteen speakers including a four-motor, dual-membrane Sound Motion woofer for better bass response and low end. This is a pretty significant upgrade alone if you don’t plan on adding a discrete subwoofer.

Sonos Sub (Gen 3) Subwoofer for Just $409

Even with the newer Sub 4 dropping to a new price low (see below), it’s hard to overlook the fact that the Sub 3 is on sale for an even better price. Currently, it’s on sale for $409, which is over 50% off the original retail price of $899.

The audio savvy knows that a single speaker isn’t enough to reproduce an entire soundstage. If you could pick only one other speaker, then a subwoofer would make the most meaningful impact. The Sub 4 features dual inward-facing 5″x8″ woofers and a traditional ported design that allows for a louder and deeper low-end. It also has much more power than the Sub Mini and can reverberate the walls of any sized room in your house.

Sonos Sub 4 Subwoofer for $619

The Sonos Sub 4 has hit a new price low for Memorial Day. It’s currently priced at $619, down 31% from the listed price of $899 for buying it new.

So why pay over $200 more for a Sub 4 over a Sub 3. Quite honestly, most people shouldn’t. Performance-wise, these two subs are identical. The Sub 4’s improvements are more about future-proofing and better system integration. It has a faster processor, more RAM, and upgraded Wi-Fi 6 networking compared to its predecessor. According to Sonos, “This allows it to communicate efficiently and effectively with the other components in your home theater system. Rest assured that it will be capable of receiving the latest software updates and features from Sonos for years to come.”

Sonos Beam (Gen 2) Soundbar for $299

The Sonos Beam is a great option for someone who requires a more compact sound bar or simply doesn’t want to spend $900 on the Arc Ultra. The Beam (Gen 2) is a 26-inch long, 5.0-channel soundbar with one tweeter and four mid-woofers for natural, balanced sound and four passive radiators to help with the low end. Although the Beam doesn’t have physical height channels, it has two virtual height channels for Dolby Atmos support. It has a microphone for voice control.

Sonos Move 2 Portable Speaker for $299

The Move 2 is Sonos’ biggest and best portable speaker. Its size allows it to house two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amplifiers. This is a standalone speaker with a self-contained battery and can be carried around from room to room. The battery provides up to 24 hours of continuous playtime and a simple but effective docking station essentially turns it into a powered speaker. It is IP56 rated for weather resistance and has a built-in microphone so that it can accept voice commands and is compatible with smart assistants.

Sonos Era 100 Smart Speaker for $134

Going in and out of stock

The Sonos Era 100 retails for $219 new, or you can save about 20% off a certified refurbished model for just $79. This is Sonos’ most popular and most versatile speaker. Despite its compact size, the Era 100 houses two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amplifiers to produce precise, distortion-free audio even at high volumes. It has a built-in microphone for smart functionality. Because of its flexibility, it’s often paired with a sound bar or a second Era speaker.

Sonos Era 300 for $329

Going in and out of stock

The Era 300 is a much bigger, better sounding version of the Era 100. It’s nearly double the size and weight. The Era 300 is also shaped differently, but there’s a reason for that. The hourglass figure is designed to optimally arrange the six speakers so that they fire sound in all directions, enhancing Dolby Atmos and spatial audio effects. The Era 300 consist of four tweeters and two woofers paired with Class-D digital amplifiers and custom waveguides to help project sound to all corners of your room. Like the Era 100, it also has a built-in microphone for voice control.

Why Sonos?

If you’re looking for an easy solution to add great sound to your home, then you’ve probably already heard of Sonos. Sonos speakers are very easy to set up, don’t take a large amount of space, and most importantly, offer distortion-free room-filling audio. They’re definitely pricier than budget options, but the sound quality is comparable to speakers that cost hundreds more or take up much more space.
