(KRON) — A violent road rage incident happened in Berkeley between an electric skateboarder and a man driving a car Thursday afternoon, police said.
The driver got into an argument with a person who was riding on a skateboard in the area of Euclid Avenue and Cedar Street, according to the Berkeley Police Department.
“Following the altercation, the (skateboarder) pursued the victim and attempted to vandalize his vehicle,” BPD wrote.
When the driver stopped his car and stepped out, the skateboard rider stabbed the victim in his head, police said.
Police officers were dispatched at 4:41 p.m. The assailant fled from the area and evaded law enforcement.
