BROWN COUNTY LINE, Ind. — Two people were injured Tuesday evening when their vehicle overturned along a rural stretch of State Road 45 near the Monroe-Brown County line, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the crash at approximately 6:17 p.m. in the 9700 block of East State Road 45, where they found a 2013 Toyota RAV4 overturned about 30 feet off the north side of the road.
The vehicle’s two occupants—Isaiah Warren of Nineveh and Kimberly Cole of Columbus—suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews with the Monroe Fire Protection District spent more than 30 minutes extricating the pair from the wreckage.
East State Road 45 was closed to traffic for roughly an hour and a half during the emergency response.
Both Warren and Cole were transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
