ISP: Westfield man arrested after allegedly possessing child porn
WESTFIELD, Ind. — After an investigation from multiple law enforcement agencies, a Westfield man was arrested on Thursday after he allegedly possessed child pornography.

According to a news release from the Indiana State Police, 52-year-old Richard Krakora was preliminarily charged with possession of child pornography.

The release said that the Indiana Crimes Against Children task force opened an investigation into Krakora in March 2025. Officials said Krakora was believed to have child pornography on electronic devices.

On Thursday, detectives with the Indiana State Police conducted a search of Krakora’s home and devices. The release said that evidence discovered during this search led to Krakora’s arrest.

The release said that Krakora was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Thursday. The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case to determine formal charges.

Officials said that detectives with the Indiana State Police were assisted on this case by the following agencies:

  • Westfield Police Department
  • Boone County CASE Task Force
  • Zionsville Police Department
  • Whitestown Metro Police Department
  • U.S. Secret Service
  • Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
