Highs will cool back down into the 60s for northern Utah later today, while no effects will occur with this system across southern Utah. Highs will warm into the 70s and lower 80s across the south.
As we move into the middle of this week, an area of high-pressure ridge will nose in from the west. This will not only bring a drier weather pattern to the forecast but will usher in the return of even warmer temperatures.
Highs by Thursday and Friday will climb to about 10-15° above average. This will mean highs in the upper 70s to low 80s across the Wasatch Front, and highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s for southwest Utah.
A slightly stronger cold front arrives Saturday evening, bringing a very slight rain chance Saturday night into Sunday morning. More significantly, there will be much cooler temperatures on Sunday. Highs on Sunday will only be in the 50s across the north, and in the 70s across southern Utah.
Stay tuned!
