Suspect accused of sexual assault in Taylor County

TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A suspect is accused of committing sexual assault in Taylor County Monday.

David Boyd was taken into custody on a Sexual Assault Charge after members of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office responded to a check welfare call.

When deputies arrived on scene, a victim came forward and claimed she had been sexually assaulted by Boyd earlier that day, according to a press release from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.

Boyd was arrested on-site then transported to the Taylor County Jail, where he remains held without bond.

Additional details about the alleged assault have not been disclosed.
