Crime Reports: Suspect accused of graffitiing several buildings at Abilene ISD campus

Editor’s Note: The Abilene Police Department supplied the following arrest and incident reports. All information below comes from reports made by responding officers, and all suspects are considered not guilty unless determined otherwise in a court of law.

Incidents

4200 block of Woods Place – Assault Hospital Staff
Two employees were assaulted by a patient at a hospital.

2200 block of Vogel Avenue – Assault
A victim reported her grown son punched her several times, causing her pain.

2800 block of N 6th Street – Assault Public Servant
An adult student is accused of kicking and spitting on an SRO and an assistant principal.

200 block of N Leggett Drive – Theft of Material
A victim reported an unknown suspect broke into a fence and stole copper wiring from electrical boxes.

2800 block of N 6th Street – Graffiti
An unknown suspect broke into the fence on a school campus and used red spray paint to graffiti several buildings, causing $1,700 worth of damage.

1100 block of Ruswood Drive – Criminal Mischief
A victim reported a known suspect threw a rock through the window of his business.

900 block of S Bowie Drive – Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon
Police were dispatched to an assault in south Abilene between two family members. One suspect was arrested.

600 block of Bacon Drive – Harassment
A victim was followed around north Abilene by a known suspect who they were in a dating relationship with.

1800 block of Collins Avenue – Injury to Child
A suspect was arrested in north Abilene after assaulting her elderly mother.

900 block of N Jefferson Drive – Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon
A victim was hospitalized with head injuries but was being uncooperative with questioning.

5000 block of Hwy 277 S – Assault
A report was taken for assault in south Abilene.

2600 block of S 22nd Street – Criminal Mischief
A report was taken for criminal mischief in south Abilene.

2200 block of N 18th Street – Criminal Mischief
A criminal mischief report was taken in north Abilene.

1100 block of Magnolia Drive Assault

7100 block of Tin Cup – Theft of Property
A laptop worth $1,600 was reported stolen.
