Two men arrested in Evangeline Parish drug bust
EVANGELINE, La. (KLFY) — Two men were arrested after a traffic stop in Evangeline Parish after police allegedly found around 3.4 grams of meth as well as pills in their possession.

Officials said Chad Wayne Greer, 51, and Pierre Vidrine II, 28, were arrested after a traffic stop on US 167 on Feb. 19, during a pat search, when they found a plastic baggie containing 3 grams of Methamphetamine and three yellow round pills identified as Amphetamine Dextroamphetamine on Greer’s person as well as .4 grams of Methamphetamines on Vidrine.

Officials said Vidrine also maintained an outstanding felony warrant through Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said Greer was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamines and one count of possession of amphetamines. Vidrine was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamines.

Bond information has not been released.
