By rssfeeds-admin Plainfield police crews were called around 9:30 p.m. Monday to the 2400 block of Harvest Way on reports of a “shooting incident.” Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim had fled the scene and gone to a nearby Walmart on E. Main Street looking for medical attention.
Once found, the victim reportedly received “prompt medical treatment for minor injuries” by EMS crews and did not require hospitalization. Police later restricted the area near the shooting for an investigation.
Officials said that detectives are now in the early stages of investigating the shooting and are asking for the public to be patience while the investigation proceeds. No other information was immediately provided.
