The 65,000-square-foot facility is a key component of Amazon’s last-mile delivery network, where packages are received, sorted, and dispatched. The site has already generated approximately 200 jobs, with entry-level positions starting at $18.40 per hour, including full benefits. Roles range from package handling and dispatch operations to delivery services.

Amazon officials credited strong collaboration with local leaders for the facility’s swift development, which was completed in under a year. The facility is expected to help meet peak holiday demand and contribute to long-term economic growth in the region by expanding employment opportunities.
