LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — The upstairs bedroom of a two-story townhouse caught fire after a candle was allegedly left unattended by the bed.
Lafayette firefighters said they responded to a residential fire in the 2800 block of Louisiana Avenue Friday evening.
Although the room sustained heavy fire damage, officials said, the damage was confined to only that townhouse.
Officials said the fire was accidental and no one was harmed.
